I prefer to spend three days in first visit. 

Day one: is spent with the top persons i.e. CEO, Directors and heads of sales and technical department. 

Day two: is spent with the sales and service team  

Day three: visit to clients (2-4)    

I would submit a detailed report and a plan of action. I would provide you support via email during implementation for one complete year.
